For the past six years members of REEF's (
http://www.reef.org) Pacific Northwest Advanced Assessment Team have conducted surveys of marine fish and selected invertebrates within the Olympic National Marine Sanctuary. These are photos from the August 2008 trip. Condensation in my camera housing plagued me much of the trip, as reflected in many of the photos.
A diversity of rockfish were encountered, but the relative abundance of species such as Tiger, China and Canary rockfish seemed lower relative to previous years.
